het ging wel goed?
Juha: het ging ontzettend goed. Veel meer plezier dan dit kun je niet hebben. Het ging vandaag zoals het moet.
Je bent een veelzijdig persoon, niet alleen DJ maar ook nog op allerlei andere vlakken actief?
Juha: Non-fiction, Castrum Peregrini, Viral Radio, Binger, Vurb en dan mis je nog een paar dingen maar dat maakt niet uit. Viral is relevant en muziek is relevant. De mogelijkheid geboden krijgen dit soort muziek te laten horen en te delen. Het is niet zozeer plaatjes draaien maar mensen bijeen brengen. 22 jaar geleden ben ik begonnen met mijn zakgeld uitgeven aan muziek. Ik ben 15 jaar geleden begonnen met draaien, dat was voordat Viral radio bestond.
Op dat moment komt Joris de ruimte binnen en stelt zich aan ons voor. Juha nodigt hem uit er bij te komen zitten.
Joris: We hadden gemaild he
Juha: Waarover hebben wij gemaild
Joris: Low Mechanic
Juha: Wat is Low Mechanic? Ik denk dat je misschien de verkeerde voor me hebt of je betrapt me op een....
De hoofdact van de avond Gaslamp Killer (GK), mengt zich in het gesprek:
GK: Oh my god
Juha: Oh my god
Joris: het ging toch over Low Mechanic
GK: So after my show in Berlin this guy comes up to me and he is the last guy to say thank you or whatever and he said: "He man, great set, but you´ve got to cut with that oh my god bullshit. We don´t believe in god here in Europe" And he tried to walk away but I had his hand, so I held his hand and I said: "BRO, god bless you brother" and he was like: tsss and his fucking gills were like kssshh and fucking steam went ffsshhwwwww
Juha: Are you saying he doesn´t believe in Flying Lotus
GK: owwww, seriously though, I think his date list is, I think he might be winning right now. His performances have been blowing my mind more then anybody right now
Juha: Really?
GK: Yeah, his live electronic is really... is fucking with everyone right now.
Juha: Have you seen Dimlite
GK: ah, he is the fucking man, he is the fucking king, BUT, I haven´t seen him perform in 3 years now
Juha: He is the best, he is by far
